Mobile Nail and Beauty Treatments
Flutterby's Beauty operates a Mobile Salon in Retford and the surrounding area. All treatments are carried out in the comfort of your own home, or in the case of Wedding Packages, at a location of your choice.
Because we understand that you have a busy schedule, we are not limited to 'opening hours'. Appointments are available daytimes, evenings and weekends, at a time to suit you. We have a variety of treatments available to suit everyone. If you are unsure about which treatment would best suit you, please don't hesitate to contact us.
For Nail Enhancements, we offer Acrylic, HD Acrylic, Gel (both file off and soak off), Silk and Fibreglass, all from the EzFlow Nail Systems range. There are advantages and disadvantages of each system, however your Nail Technician will advise you on the best product for your nails.
Nail products have changed a lot over recent years as technology has changed and develloped. Nail Enhancement products themselves are not damaging to the natural nail, however you may experience the natural nail drying out, which can cause natural nail splitting or breaking after the enhancement has been removed. To prevent this, cuticle oil must be applied on a daily basis whilst you wear the enhancements and once they have been removed. Cuticle oil is not, as some people see it, an 'expensive unnessesary product that my technician wants to sell me', but a quality product that is required by anyone wishing to keep their enhancements on for longer than 2 weeks as it prolongs the life of the enhancement, preventing it drying out and lifting.
Manicures and Pedicures are carried out using top of the range Spa Elements Manicure and Pedicure products. The Spa Elements products are made using Nature's botanicals, mineral extracts and essential oils. The 5 step system is hydrating to the skin, and and helps to relieve muscle tension. The manicure/pedicure is finished off using an Orly Nail Polish colour of your choice.
We also offer Callus Peel treatment, which is a hard skin softener. The Callus Peel 'pad' is applied to the sole of the foot, wrapped up to keep the heat in and left on for 15 minutes. It is then removed, and the hard skin simply just scrapes away. This treatment is perfect for pre-holiday to get those feet summer ready.
Whether you are wanting to pro-long the holiday feeling or bring the summer feeling here sooner, we have the solution to suit you. Sunless Solutions is available in 8%, 10% and 12%, and for those wishing to go darker, we also have available Spray Tanning Booster Drops which deepen the colour of the tan.
